I may be moving from my 2000 GS400 to a third generation GS - hopefully a 430 or even 460. Has anyone else owned/driven both generations of GS, what are your thoughts?

 

I’ve had both and the quality is better in the 2nd gen. If you can find a 2006 GS430 then go for it, they only made it for one year. Same engine but with 6 speed instead of 5 speed transmission and more modern features. Doesn’t have the bulletproof reliability of the 2nd gen but it’s as close as you can get while being more modern.
