Thumbs up First Lexus...Yay

Recently got out of a god-awful lease payment/arrangement, and found a Craigslist treasure. A 2002 GS300 (almost) single owner, and the owner had the Carfax to confirm that, complete with current minor things that need attention, for which I've already scheduled to have taken care of. It was just he and his wife's older car they bought from their neighbor who had it for 20 years and took meticulous care of, and his wife was on his *** to get it out of the driveway since they had newer cars now. That said, she was there when I bought it, and she wanted a few last pics of it before I took off, because of memories. That's a good sign when buying the car, that it wasn't just some clunker they trashed and didn't care about. Anyway, he asked 3k I got him to 2k, easiest car transaction I've ever had. Runs and drives as smooth and strong if not better than the 2023 Camry I was driving. I'm already a total imposter in this Lexus world, three people at work today said "is that your Lexus out there?" What is this strange world of car attention...from a car that's twenty-three years old. Nobody gave a crap about the slick Camry lol. Either way I could care less about all that, just stoked I found a steal and that I'm again a car OWNER not DEBTOR of a quality brand, cause for real if you buy crap cars you always a debtor lol. Obviously the Camry wasn't crap, I'm just saying...iykyk. Anyway don't let me down Lexus! I will hold up my end of the bargain and gladly pay for Premium gas and routine maintenance from Lexus shops! Shout out Club Lexus!

Welcome to Club Lexus as a new member, and congratulations on your purchase.

Runs and drives as smooth and strong if not better than the 2023 Camry I was driving.
Even over and above the good care this car has received, there is a reason why it runs better than the much newer Camry. IMO, Lexus built their best vehicles in the late 1990s and early 2000s....and it shows.
