I am a student in the automotive technician program here in Washington state.
I am currently in automatic transmissions this quarter and we have a project/presentation on a transmission of our choosing due at the end of this month.
My daily is a 1998 GS300 so naturally i chose the A650e for my topic of research. However, I am struggling to find some of the required materials needed for full credit.
I've already scoured Google so I figured I'd ask the forums to see if any of y'all could help.
This is what I am looking for:

• Clutch/Band application chart
• Power flow charts for each for the 5 gears

not sure where you would find this info, if Google didn't find it for you. Did your instructor point you in any direction to find this info? It seems like manufacturers spec info. Not sure why anyone else would need to know it?

 

Might have the best luck contacting a company that builds high performance A650Es, like Power Dynamix or ATF.

 

I would send powerdynamix an email. They build a650e's.
