Default no gear indicator on dash / no crank and start

engine harness was changed after that there’s no gear indicator on the dash and cars not starting or cranking before harness was changed car would jerk when going into gear.

if anyone has any ideas what the issue is would appreciate it.

Neutral Safety Switch isn't connected on the transmission side of the wiring harness?

Check 10A GAUGE fuse in the under-dash fuse box.

Does the transmission shift between P, R, N, D modes when you move the lever?
I mean, does the car actually move forward, reverse, park, etc.?

Has anything on your dashboard been removed / modified, such as the navigation system, stereo, air conditioning control unit, multi-display, tilt and telescopic control unit?
