Hello, my gs400 I bought about 2 weeks ago just started throwing a P0446 code today. I have pulled off the engine cover and inspected the hoses near the EGR solenoid they seem to be fine, I also noticed last time I filled up the gas pump shutoff early a few times I'm not sure if that's indicative of a bad charcoal can. The car seems to idle and rev perfectly fine and I haven't noticed any odd smells, I'm not sure if I should continue driving and would appreciate any advice/help.
I get that and the other EVAP warning every now and then. It comes up more often if the car is stopped and idling during bumper to bumper traffic or just leaving the car on while not moving. If you spend most of your time driving on the freeway or open road it will show up less. I myself am not sure how to fix it as I have read there could be multiple things that cause it. Personally I just bought a FIXD OBDII reader and clear it in the FIXD app whenever that or the other one show up. almost 20k miles later since I got the car and no problems.
I do have to give the car some throttle when I start it every time I finish filling up gas, which may have consequences in itself.
Hope this relieves some stress and worry!
The GS 400 is a great car and hopefully ours last many more years to come! *change your lower ball joints if you haven't*

Yeah I was planning to do the ball joints this weekend. That definitely makes me feel better thanks for your time!
