My upper A arm knuckle is struggling with my tire on the front right, but not the left, leads me to believe it was in an accident before I bought it, but I can’t see Anything bent or out of place or any reason why it wouldn’t clear. It butts up against the tire so bad that if it lowers off the jack it’ll pop the tire. Thoughts?
Update: after doing some digging online I couldn’t find a diagram or any pictures really, took the other rim off, and the passenger side is bent, just enough to be a problem. Can’t find a replacement part anywhere. Any suggestions?

just purchase a new aarm, check eBay Detroit axle sells them new with bushings and ball joint
Because you have a coilover installed, your upper arms are working at a different angle of force. Your camber will also be different from specification.
To use a coilover you need to use adjustable upper control arms from some aftermarket companies.
This will allow your wheels to be in the vertically correct position and solve problems with tire contact.

Camber changes on this car do not change the relationship between the upper balljoint and the tire. The knuckle is fixed between the upper and lower control arms and they move in unison.
There are all kinds of options regarding replacing the old suspension components on these cars. You can find budget replacements on ebay, or get Moog from the parts store. Rock auto will have quality packages that will include both sides and the lower ball joints even kits that will have ever component to rebuild your whole front suspension. Do a real good inspection of the lower control arms and torque arms and figure out what is the best direction for you and keep in mind that you should get it aligned after replacing suspension components, so it’s best to get it all fixed at once so u don’t have to pay for multiple alignments
