I recently decided to invest in an old hot rodder's trick on my 2jz. I spent about $100 and got an electric fan and fan switch relay setup to get rid of my old belt driven fan. I just finished and took her around the block. So far it's been about the most noticeable mod I've done... on any of my cars. The engine runs a whole lot smoother and is a whole lot more obedient. Thus far the engine's managed to stay about the same temp as with the stock fan. All in all, it's the best damn mod for the money that I've seen for this engine. I'll keep anyone who's interested updated.

sorry I just saw this. Leets I am interested, too. I saw some posts in the sc300 section as well abotu this mod but whomever did it was a little skimpy on the details.

 

Ya, sorry I wasn't able to make a detailed install article, but my digicam and I aren't talking. It's a really simple install actually. Took me some time cuz I took my time in planning everything out. If anybody wants to take a chance and do this mod I'd be more than happy to help out as long as they can take some good install pics to do an article. I'll also be mor than happy to show off at the next meet.
