I googled this problem and maybe my problem is the pipe from the EGR valve to the intake manifold...

Has anyone removed their intake manifold and if so, how difficult was it?

Default need to replace O2 sensor

On my 98 LS 400 (125,000miles) Where did you get the Bosch sensor and how do you replace them?

Need help fast my registration is expired and ere in California they are pretty uptight about emmisions so it won't pass smog.

what type of store do you get that generic bosch o2 sensor from? an aftermarket store or an auto zone/pep boys? do you recall the part number? i have the same problem an my 93!

two more questions, did you change the one before the catilist or after? did it make the CEL go off? thanks "johnee 78" i appreciate the link!!!
