Default steering rack/subframe ideas

I've done a few hours of research on the idea of putting a quicker rack into my car and by the looks of it the SC and Supra won't bolt in because of the angle they seem to mount to the subframe. It looks like the Supra and SC steering racks are interchangeable between each other assuming you were to use stainless steel P/S lines to allow for some wiggle room. So that leaves me to finding out if the SC subframe could bolt up to our cars. http://www.oemautopartsandaccessorie...08b784579073e/ The subframe is vastly different from ours, where ours form a sort of square pattern the SC is literally just two crossmembers. I'm going to try to find an SC in the PA/NJ areas where I am now and measure the distance from bolt to bolt across the front and back, who knows they might just line up for us. If anyone has experience or has tried this and might have another lead, let me know.

I've seen a steering rack quickener that you can put on your car:

For around $150.

I would be very interested in the results from this idea!! If its not possible to swap the entire rack is it possible to swap the internals out a quicker rack into a 1GS rack?

I have been thinking the same for the last 2 months. I was planning to try and locate a shop that rebuilds steering racks and pick their brains one what gear(s) inside the rack can be changed for a quicker steering input response.

I think this would be a great upgrade.
