Finally got back into something with a 2j in it after a few years. Run down-1995 gs300 with 230k miles. Black, touring edition in decent condition considering I bought it for $1200.

Problems:
The cluster cant decide what it wants to have working, some days everything will work. Other days the speedo wont work, then the tach wont work then the temp guage wont work. In no particular order. Very strange.

Today my trac off light came on along with a cel. I have yet to check the code however im pretty sure it has something to do with the trac light. How would I go about solving this? I have never owned an sc/gs with traction control.

I cannot roll the passenger side window up from the driver side. Nor can I rolling down my passenger side window from the passenger side, only up.

Airbag light is blinking, how can I get ride of this? Very annoying...

An orange light with an outline of a car with lines coming out the back is on. Has something to do with lights, what is it?

These cars have guage cluster issues. There is a company (Lextech.org) that can repair it for you or you can buy the parts and repair it yourself.

You will just have to pull the codes for the CEL and TRAC light to see what the problem is abd then repair from there.

The window regulator/motor go out quit often on these cars. I have had to replace all 4 of mine.

The light on the dash that you are describing means you have a tail light out.

I fixed the cel/trac light. It was a code 71 (egr prob) Cleaned out my egr, reset my ecu and no more codes.
