need help with my radio
I just got me a 93 gs and the radio turns on but the sound is really low ...I mean I have to turn the volume to max to hear some barely. So the guy I got it from told me they had someone install an different pioneer changer and after the guy did it the radio wasn't the same ever since. He says the sound comes and goes. So I looked at how the guy installed the changer and it was a mess plus he tapped into the antenna wiring for power smh it was crap. I took it out completely and said fock it lol now I want to know whats missing in the picture I posted and what are those connectors for.

ok so that thing is just a stand for the factory changer! ok coo thanks bro now i don't feel as bad like it was missing something huge. well I'm guessing the high and low issue is the amp is faulty. guess i will be going with an aftermarket radio because the prices for these factory units are ridiculous

I just got my ride too bro. Your factory amp is shot. Mine was already bypassed. I'm routing wiring now to run a mtx sub with a kicker amp in our stock shelf location. I ran all new speaker wire to the door speakers and they sound fine now.

I have heard that there is a grommet for the ecu on the passenger side. I drilled a hole and put a grommet in on the drivers side, where the firewall sheet metal meets the wheel well sheet metal.
