Default Dash Notifications!

Sup CL. I changed my front brakes and rotors last week. I had to change the drivers side caliper do to it being seized. This morning on my way home my ABS and TRAC lights popped up on the dash as well as the TRACCONT. I didn't do the rear brakes yet. Could that be the cause of the lights popping up the dash? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks .

Most likely you did something to interfere with the abs sensors up front. Pull the wheels off and inspect them.

Well it doesn't have a padwear indicator. Did you open up the brake bleeders when compressing the pistons back into the calipers? Could be air in the system and it compressed when the abs went into a self test. Check make sure you didn't knock, damage or get any grease on the abs sensors.

Pulled the wheels off and checked everything. everything was in order. sprayed some break cleaner and put wells back on. started the car and none of the lights came on. only light on is my TRAC. it wont got off but Im guessing its due to my rims. thanks for the feed back guys.

If you have different diameter tires front and rear it'll throw the light.

Also if your trac light is staying on even after turning off and not driving then its probably not wheel size
