i'm heading to muffler shop this saturday to experiment something. right now, i'm running my stock resonators but with magnaflow mufflers. my piping after resonators are about 2 1/4 inch. i took both resonators out long time ago and i lost bottom end power. so, what i'm planning to do is from the 1st catalytic, i'll try to run 2 1/4 inch piping, take out 2nd caty converter out, and run the pipe all the way with better resonators (ultraflow) all the way back to the mufflers.

i'll update if this really works.........well, hopefully.

 

magnaflows are really quiet. just keep the resonators off. i'm sure you won't lose any power if at all. try running 2 1/4 from the cat back with no resonators but before you do unplug your batt and reset your ECU
