Default Tranny Question

When I shift into Drive from park there is usually a clinking noise and a kinda rough engage, has anyone else experienced this problem, and if so what did you do to correct it?

Thanks,
Kareem

has it been a while since you had any service on your tranny? could be you need it. or does it just happen after a cold start?

I've only had the car for 3 months, so it hasn't been serviced yet. Also, it happends almost every time I shift from park to drive.

If it is the little click I always hear on may car, I think it is normal. I had this sound in my car ever since I got it and now may car has 165,000 miles.

when you put in in reverse the back should lift up about 1/2 inch. and when you put it in drive the back should lower about 1/2 inch its pretty cool. thats all i notice.
