Default manual gs?

what's up everybody...

maybe you can settle a bet for me...

a buddy of mine says that since a gs shares the same engine and tranny with a supra... it is possible to convert our cars to a stick shift... what do you guys think?

i'm a bit skeptical myself... is it possible? more importantly.. is it worth it?

You'd need, for the most minor swap:

2jz-ge manual tranny f/ NA Supra
pedal set from same supra
ECU from Same supra
center consoul + shifter f/ same supra

Theoretically, if you have basic fab and metal working skills, its not a difficult swap.
