Default gas mileage tip

If it hasn't been replaced already, replace the rotor and distributor cap. My rotor was totally worn down to a nub and the car only has 50k miles.

With that and my new spark plugs I expect to be saving money on gas. We'll see.

$80 for the cap, rotor, AND wires. Not too shabby. I didn't even bother asking about wires for the GS. I'm sure $80 wouldn't have covered that.

OEM 3957 ROTOR------LIST PRICE----7.95----YOUR PRICE------7.95

OEM 4021 DIST CAP---LIST PRICE---14.98---YOUR PRICE------14.98

and the plugs were $9.72 each.

WTF is up with the "list price" and "your price" being the same??!!

I guess it's worth it to drive a Lex, but do they have to be so blatant about overcharging? Damn.

Talk about overcharging...... I went to Harvey Lexus in Grand Rapids, Michigan today to pick up a new window regulator for a 94 gs300.... excluding the electric motor, ONLY $130.00 !!!! Then I asked how much for new struts that hold up the front hood.... only $61.00... not 2 expensive for 2 of them..... whooops... that is $61.00 each. Rear seat belt (middle one) only $46.10... the parts dept person could not look me in the eyes. Well anyway, I paid them back when I drooled all over the 2002 SC sitting in the Yard....Sweet!

Hennesey Lexus in Atlanta charged me $169 for a regulator, I was pissed but I didn't want to risk breaking the glass so I paid the $169. I need new hoods shocks too but no damm way I'm paying $61 for those, hood shocks for my Porsche only cost $15!!
