Default First Gen gas question

how many miles do you guys get to a full tank of gas. and how many gallons do you pump. i get around 300 miles when i pump its around 18 gallons. so i get around 16-17 miles a gallon. i think this is terrible gas mialage for a I6 car. this thing uses more gas than a ford expedition

I think I get better gas mileage than that but I am waiting to run down my tank and let you know. It's probably not going to be much better if it is. The car guzzles for sure, and you have to use Premium gas. I wonder if the Supra did, too.

Default mpg

I am getting 18 mpg in my first gen. I was used to getting about 34 mpg in my Corolla GTS. Now that the Corolla is older and a little tired, it gets 26 mpg. The only thing I can really say about the 18 mpg average is that I'm glad I have a Costco card and Costco gas stations nearby.

Default Gas milage

I was only getting 220-240 on a full tank and after a recent tune up it jumped way up to 260-270
So between 15-16 MPG

Damn, I get the worst mileage ever. From Los Angeles to Mission Viego (appx. 80 miles) it ate up 1/2 my tank. Sheesh, I had it in Power mode. Is this normal?

Yeah, that's what it does, and I thought maybe it did something to the mileage. But I was driving between 80 and 120 the whole way, mainly about 100, and the tank just desolved before my own damn eyes. ;(

I get about 250 to a tank, but that great compared to my Mustang 5.0. I used to get about 8-10 MPG in it.

Default Gas.

Jmai22, what's up, bro?
Haven't talked to you for a while. How's everything with your baby? I gotta write you a PM about your recent thoughts of selling the GS. And I see you still trying to figure out the gas
issue, huh?
I get around 360 miles on a full tank with the AC on and about 380 with the AC off, but I do mostly highway driving though.
Keep it Lexus, duke.

Hey John...

I must have the economy model or something...I just drove from (gas station to gas station) Dallas to almost Corpus Christi on 17.8 gallons. 382 miles. So...21.5 MPG. But that was all highway.

How the F do you drive between 80 and 120 between LA and Mission Viejo? Traffic usually restricts me to about 60-90. In my 2.8 liter I-6 BMW i get 20 on surface streets (I went a week only on surface streets) and 28-29 on the freeway. In mixed driving I get about 22.

Cuz I take the 405S from La Cienega late at night (around 10ish). Then i get on the 73 and take it to SD, but Mission Viejo is on the way!

Coming home I either take the same route, or take the 5N which is completely empty to the 10W to the 405N and exit on Santa Monica.

Even the 405N at night is easy to speed on! Just not at 8 PM!
