Code 55!!!!eerrrrr
ok. So I had a few codes being thrown. 21,28,55, and one more that was some temp sensor. I replaced both top O2 sensors and reset the CEL. Started the car no CEL, I ran it down the street and it came on. I noticed that when I start the car after sitting few an hour or so the light is off. if i rev it passed 2K it comes on and stays on. The car runs fine. It makes a little rattling noise under hard acceleration but it sounds like it is coming from around the tranny. Sounds like a piece of tin vibrating. But I don't think that has anything to do with it.
I have read that the only way to clear the light is to replace the PCM? is this right?
If I keep driving the car is it going to mess anything up. I have driven about 4K miles so far and then changed the O2's out. It dose seem to have improved and smells a lot better lol.
Do I need to replace the knock sensors?
