Update, I went to a local tuning shop and was told that I just needed to do a GTE swap since there aren't anymore bolt-on turbo kits for our 147's. I'm getting my swap for about $3800 with labor and the factory warranty.

Wow, that's a bargain then. Darn it, I hate California because of the smog and cops or I'll be having my motor swap already. Just hate the fact I have to find a smog shop connection.

huh??

driftmotion has a kit for $1500 doesnt come with a front mount though thats where im getting mine from

Well in my hometown most swaps here are Honda/Acura swaps. We don't come by very many option for Toyota and Nissan.

My front bumper support is aluminum. I guess they made the change for the 96's?

Yeah true, I've told it's better to do the swap myself and get the motor shipped to my front door.

lol a lip kit discussion turned into a turbo kit for n/a gs...

im modding my OEM bumper until my buddy gets me the mode parfume fogs I want for my kazz kit. ill post pics on how i destroy my oem bumper.
