Default New Guy Intro

Hello all. I am new to Lexus', but not cars in general. I've always owned Hondas/Acuras, but as I'm becoming a new Real Estate Agent and realizing the need for more of an adult car, I picked up my first Lexus last night. 1993 GS300, fully loaded as far as I can tell; it's certainly got more options than any Honda ever had. 252k miles, still purrs like new, but needs a new transmission. If anyone knows where I can pick up a new/reman tranny in the DFW, TX area, it would be greatly appreciated!

Ok! Lets see if this works. I don't feel like uploading all of these pics to photobucket right now, so lets see if this hyperlink to facebook will work?

Thank you! I am very anxious to learn more about these awesome cars. Except for the tranny, the previous owner had it serviced at a Lexus Dealership for everything, and I found a receipt from an oil change back in Dec 09. The paint is still glossy and looks better than my 98 Integra. I've read up on all of the options, and I beleive mine has everything that was offered as an option: leather, heated seats, traction control, premium sound, etc...

Just a newb question: am I correct in saying that the engine is the same as the Supra? It certainly is a nice upgrade from my 1.8 Integra, 1.5 Del Sol, and 91 Toyota pickup!
