Default Alternator Question ( FAST REPLY )

i need to know what happends if i put a higher Amped Alternator than the Stock 80Amps one.. will it fry something on the engine for having more Amps output than Stock or it you benefit on having a little more amps for like radio, heating fan and heated seats..?

max i would be would be 100-110 amps..

Should be fine just as long AS the voltage regulator keeps the voltage under 14v. i think one of the supra alternators is a 100 amp not sure of the exact model.

they do not saying anything about the voltage... only amps..

they say they all fit GS300 with 2JZ GE 93-2000 so i guess they should have the right volts.?

found on local for 230$ canadian... oh well.. i needed one asap and its a 80amps like stock

If your circuitry is used to weak amps because of your alternator, then just by getting a new alternator might have adverse effect on your power seats / radio ect. That happened to my GS. You might have to address electrical problems one at a time after you replace the alternator. This is known to happen if you have been running a weak alternator for a long time, then suddenly change to a new alternator.
