was sup fellas...I just bought my first gs300 93 with 218k. Its a real cream puff too in white....the body still looks hot no matter what year we are in. My question is ... my autumatic tranny some-times slams into drive...only drive. I found a used 1994 automatic tranny with 87k for 300. Will it be a perfect fit???? with out any computer issues ..check engine lights .....Is everything compatible?? thanx fellas

 

Same transmission from 1993-95. They went to a 5 speed for 1996-97. You should be good to go as long as that trans doesn't have other issues.

As far as the tranny goes, I'll echo what link has already said, you should be alright. I have a '93 and I put a tranny from a '95 in a little over a yr ago. I had no issues whatsoever.
