i just install oem replacement brembo rotors for my car. they are awesome but pricy(well worth it).

as for the pads, im on EBC green stuff.

also, might as install stainless steel lines for your car to improve braking.

also, change your brake fluid.

after this, your braking should be decent for stock

unless you go BBK...imo, they are too expensive

Aren't LS400 brakes the equivalent to SC400 brakes? Or is it the Soarer brakes?

LS400 FTMFW

Why?
-Brand new refurbished (loling at this) about 250 for both
-Rotors and pads for another 100
-Lines 100 (optional)

and u r set.

Supra is like a 600 deal
Any other aftermarket 1200+

just my .02

how much more does the LS400 caliper stick out compared to the stockys on our GSs? like if you were to measure from the front face of the rotor to the outside edge of the of the caliper (with the LS400 calipers bolted on of course). how much more caliper meat is sticking out?

600 is still pretty d*** cheap too. It may seem like alot, but its well worth the money once you feel the difference IMO.

ls calipers are a little smaller than the supra but still 4 piston they have better clearance than the supras and they r cheaper. i dont know about hawaii but you can look at advanced autoparts or napa auto parts for ls calipers u can try then for supra too but harder to get.

check it out
