Default Chaser Look-alike headlights mod...

See I am a sucker for JZX100's. Been in love with thsi car since I first saw it back in 97 in J-land. Sporty and classy at the same time; the car is very versatile, pretty much as the Monte Carlos of the late 80's where you could do either a classy car or a sport car out of this plattform with good results (OK OK i'll stop with the domestic chat).

So now back to my 1st Gen: I smopked out the inside of the headlamps a while back to give my car a bit of a sporty edge. Here are the results:

Now it doesn't quite look like this:

But I am definetly wondering (and WILL DO this) if this would change the look of the healights considerably:

Also I am thinking of rewiring the JDM headlight to work pretty much like the USDM: the turnsignal acting as a daylight light as well (1157 instead of a 1156)...

What do you guys think?

I have been considering buying that lens and doing the clear lens mod as well.... The only thing stopping me is that you have to cut up the original lens and i'm worried about the seal quality and the way it looks.....

On their website, they recommend using 3m double sided tape, I would do research on good quality plastic glue and silicon before you start.

Good luck, take lots of pictures and keep me posted!
