Hey guys im new the forum,,i own a 1995 GS 300,,my engine overheated with the quickness last night ,, coolant was every where ,,i think its my heater control valve,,but not sure,,there is a hose that plugs in on the side and from underneath,,the original line was corroded through ..if this sounds familiar to any one let me know ,,thanks guys

 

Post a picture of what your talking about. I have herd of this before but i have never had the issue.
If the line is corroded just go to the parts store and get a replacement Hose. if it is the valve itself look for a salvage vehicle cause lexus will probably bend you over if you want a new part.
take some pics to help those down the line also we need all the Do it yourself threads we can get
