Is there a difference between US vs. JDM headlights. If so what is it?

jdm use a 9005 bulb usdm use 9006
jdm have 4 lights including one dedicated daytime light us have 3
jdm have a piece of plastic that kinda sticks out on the side.

not to mention the cutoff will be for the wrong side of the road..

yes, the cutout is faced the wrong way,they dip upwards to the left, instead of upwards to the right.

why does it even matter if they dip upwards to the left, instead of upwards to the right?? Is it illegal
