remote start

i have a quick question about the remote starts for our cars do we need a extra key? and does the factory alarm still work with remote start?whats a solid brand/type remote start?

I have a DEI1400 remote start. The factory alarm still works. You do not need an extra key, you simply insert your key into the ignition when you enter the car.

alright cool,i know when i had a maxima a extra key was required and it got really expensive.thanks for your input

i have a clifford remote start with alarm system, it was a good package deal and i just went with the cheapest model but mine doesnt need an extra key
