so im installing a new hu and sub but im wondering if i taker out my cd changer and but the box there, will i get any issues? or can i just put a box on my gas tank? will that cause any issue?
cuz i really dont wanna have my baby go up in flames while im drivin and listening to music

 

I dont think it'll be a problem putting it on the gastank, but that would be custom right?

 

nah there shouldnt be a problem.unless its installed very wrong.i took out my cd changer and there were no problems.and i dont know if you know but our gas tank is directly behind the rear seats so i dont see how its possible to put the box on the tank.

 

ya i kinda ran into an issue of getting it 2 sit up on the tank so i just took out my amp and cd changer. they wanted to have it sit on top of it but also bolted in where the old one was but it was gonna cause a lot of vibration so im just gonna angle the box, thanks for your input though i willpost pics when done

 

well i also got a Q bout audio.
i unplugged my sub from the amp to make space for my trip from NY-FL and when i got here and plugged the sub back to the amp i noticed the amp wasnt even on anymore so i checked to see if the power wire was still hooked to the cars bat and ground hooked to the body and they were all good now what else should i check?
i didnt find any fuse for amp btw
