Default Code 31, code 24 [merged threads]

Hey,
I have a 1995 GS300 and pulled a code 31. According to my research the code means that "low airflow meter voltage"

Is it safe to say that there is something wrong with my Mass Air Flow sensor??

Thanks for your time in advance.

Default Code 24

hey again,

I have a 1995 gs300 and pulled a code 24. After some searching on this forum, I have not gotten a difinitive answer as to what it is that could cause this code to occur. From what I have gathered, the "Intake temperature sensor circuit fault" is what the code means. I also learned that code 24 means that the IAT is at fault.
Is the IAT the same as the MAF?? If not, could someone describe it or post a pic of it?

Thanks so much in advance for your time and effort.

The intake temp sensor is integrated into the Karmen Vortex sensor(maf). If you swap the unit you take care of both. It's located right before the filter box and the harness has 6 wires coming out of it.
