Hey, im not sure if its posted already or not...but there are time where the ABS, TRC OFF, and (!) ebrake lights pops on for no reason...i got it check various times...had the brake pads changed, alternator rebuilt, cheked all the fluids they all seem to be fine...this is just drivin me NUTS!!!!
had anyone came across a solution for this??? maybe nexttime it happens ill just take a picture of it n post it...
how this happens is: the ABS would turn on, a couple seconds later the TRC would then turn on, and then the ebrake(sometimes the ebrake would alrdy b on before the ABS would even turn on) and yes i am 100% sure i got the ebrake off before i drive the damn thing...
another thing i observed was that it usually happens more often durin very very hot temperatures like +30 and the car wouldnt even be ON!?!?!? so im not sure wat is wrong...
the only thing that concerns me is that ill b drivin it during winter (obviously i will get winter tires), and if those lights turn on and IF there would b any situation where i would have the slam on the brake AND the brakes do not respond...i would be F***eD...any suggestions are welcome

hey nick, yea its been since day 1 i think...even wit the previous owner...this is the only thing that is stopppin me from installin the LEDs...but i thinkim just gonna give it a go n test drive it this winter n prolly get some studded tires..
btw no the double din doesnt haf a dvd...but can play vids via ipod or sd cards!!!

 

Try bleeding the ABS pump and see if that does anything since all these systems are tied into each other. And FYI, the (!) is a warning indication for various things, not just the e-brake being on.

i think dan would be the most accurate "educated guess" at it since that makes perfect logical sense.

nah i doubt its the double din...it happened way before i started upgradin that bad boy
