Nice work. I'm thinking of getting one like that also but so many that are sold on Ebay have the chrome flaking out. This would be the solution since the chrome will likely to peel off in the long run anyway. It would be great if you have the before, in between and final product. It's good to know that you can sand them down without damaging the taillights. Actually, this look more like the 96-97 U.S. version without the chrome and the the "Aristo" in the center. I always like the U.S. 96-97 taillights but hated the center being color keyed with the body. Look like the freakin 95-96 Toyota Camry. On the other hand, I like the 93-95 with the "Aristo" inside the lens, not outside which tend to oxidize over time and damage the "Aristo" emblem. With the "Aristo" being in the inside is like having a nice piece of art storing in a nice frame. Anyhow, sorry for a long post, but have to mention it since were on the rear taillights topic.

Yeah I knew I should've taken pictures on the process but it didn't pop into my head after it was sanded down.sorry my 1st gen fam.
but what you could do is,do the same I did then slap on an Aristo emblem.the was my original plan, but I figured I'd be different.so i ordered a JP emblem.

Sweet! Looks nice man. I have a 96' and I always wanted to see what the difference's were side by side with the JDM lights. Now I can see. I kinda dig my USDM 96 lights since my car is black and the center garnish is obviously black as well, the other color cars look so odd, but mine looks like the old and new blended. I was thinking about picking up the JDM tails, but I think Im gonna keep them the way they are.
BTW the plastic polish looks great. I polish a lot of headlights for customers and they turn out excellent every time!

While we're on the subject of JDM, just a quick question. What is Zenki and Kouki? Is it a certain brand or maker of headlights/taillights? I've seen this designation on headlights and tails of different brands of car...but I never knew what it meant. Someone please enlighten me
EDIT: I just read your earlier post. I guess zenki means old and kouki means new lol.
