Have you tried disconnecting the battery to reset the computer?

Read the codes first. Get a paper clip, open the hood, find the black diagnostic port on the intake manifold side of the engine, jumper TE and TE1, turn the key, count the blinks. It should be like one blink a pause then like seven more then a pause then a one and the seven more. This would be code 17. Figure out what code(s) you have and let us know.

i have the same problem too. I followed the instructions of Kaiser but as shown in the attached picture there is no TE, only TE1 and TE2. So I jumpered TE1 and TE2 and after turning the key nothing blinks.

I did that and: after turning the key the controls "engine check" and "O/D off" are blinking simoultaneously, what may be the case then?

If they blink quickly with no spaces, it means you have no stored codes. Let me read the manual.

Ok 54 is TRAC pump motor operation frequency excessive.

TRAC motor relay ON is output continuously 10 times at intervals of less than 24sec. when traction control is not executed.

Trouble areas:
TRAC actuator
Brake fluid leakage
ECU
TRAC accumulator

43 is Malfunction in ABS or TRAC control system. Basically telling you about code 54.
