Default How to adjust Idle.

Does anyone know how to adjust the idle on our cars? Pictures would be greatly appreciated. My idle right now is at around 600-700rpm which is perfect for me. It idles very softly and has no problem idling this low.

My only problem is that I have an after market alternator, i think outputting 160amps, and the minimum RPM required for the alternator to start producing juice is about 800rpm. So when stopped at stoplights or just idling my voltage will drop down way below 12volts and in some cases down to 10v and battery light will come on and i will have to step on the gas for a few seconds to get it back up.

Thanks.

8mm nut and an allen screw on the throttle body. It's basically just the set screw and you are opening the blade a little at idle. Loosen the nut and turn the allen screw.
