Default Weekend from hell!

I'll try to make this short.

I live in Chicago and I went to St. Louis for the day. When I reached just outside STL, my alternater went out. Luckly I was able to ROLL into a Walmart and get everything I needed. Well when I put in a new alternator I was able to drive another 200 miles until it went out again. With Futher inspection, I believe its due to a water leak on to the alternator.

My question, after all of that, I still don't get any power to the cabin electronics. NOTHING works! No, speedo, no dash power at all, no radio, no windows, brake light, night time lights NOTHING!! Does anyone know what this could be? I checked all fuses and all of them are fine. Any ideas would be great.

thanks

There is a master link fuse in the box under the hood. It's 100amp, it's blue and has a window on the top. All current from the alt goes through there. If it goes, everything you described happens. I was able to pick up 120amp supra master link fuse that fit fine if there is no Lexus dealer near you.

Thats all correct..this happened to me about 2 months ago and was able to use a smaller size fuse from autozone..I ordered the correct fuse from Lexus and it was $15.00..When you replace this fuse you can upgrade the cable to a 4,2 or 0 gauge wire..
