Default Quick Swap Question

Hi...Im new to the forum and I hope to see you bay area guys around sometime.

anyways...I will be picking up a high mileage 1995 gs300 and I would like to know if the jdm 2jzge is a straight swap? If not, what will I need to do to make it work perfectly. thanks!!!

Tramix he said JDM GE not GTE. I read it wrong the first time too. It should be plug and play, however I would use the US harness and ECU if it was me to be certain.

yeah, i swapped the jdm ge motor into my car, i used the us harness, some sensors you have to switch out from the motor you swapping out. Save you some time, bolt one motor mount onto the block and bolt the other one to the body(loosely). It's a little easier to drop the motor in and bolting it in place, good luck by the way.
