Another "what is it worth" question
I'm looking at a 1993 GS 300 at a dealership later today. It has 91,616 on the clock. There aren't any pictures on the website so i'm not sure what color it is. Assuming the car looks good for it's age, and runs well, what would be a fair price for the car? Stealership is asking $6500. I have values from kbb.com, edmunds.com, and nada.com, but want to make sure that those prices are accurate. None of those sites account for "tuner" market value. They say a 1994 Supra Turbo retails for $14,000 in excellent condition with 80k on the clock

Here are the figures that I have.
Trade in value from KBB/NADA/Edmunds: $4525/$4425/$2973
Retail value from the same is $8075/$5700/$5140
Average Trade is $3973, Average retail is $6305, the difference is $2331.67, and the mid point is $5140.
Is $5140 a good purchase price, or are there color combinations/feature packages that this car could have/not have that would make the value go higher or lower? I mean, besides the obvious spoiler, chrome wheels, etc.

Whether or not it is CLEAN makes all the difference in the world. 5k-ish for a clean GS3 (no tears or worn leather, nice paint, working everything) is good... simply because there aren't very many clean cars left. Most every car you find is 4-5 and needs work. The color combo makes a difference to.
White (most of the time these are two tone with a grey or gold bottom, HOT) and black are always desirable. The charcoal leather is generally more sought after than the tan.
Both of my GS's have 180k and run great. A 90k example should run like new.
