Speaking of LSD's... I took these pictures from an Aristo half-cut but it has no serial numbers or part numbers or any indication of what it actually is... Can anyone tell if this is an actual Aristo LSD?
It looks like a standard 4.08 open diff just like mine. The LSD pumpkins had some heat fins on the sides of it, not just the back like that one. Of course without opening it up I can't say definatively.
yikes i don't want to pull it out to find out.. oh well... i guess I'll live with it for now.. I usually leave 2 strips of rubber all the time but last time i left only one.. dont' know that why i'm asking.

The torsen diff only works if both tires are planted on the ground. If for some reason you had one tire lift off the ground from jumping the car, thats where you would have a problem
