Dyno'd again today
Had an enlightening experience today. The AFC does not read boost properly once you exceed 1.0 BAR. My AFC said I was cruising around town on 17.5psi if converted from bar. I layed down 350rwhp and was quite upset. Then thought about it and the odds of running that boost on 91 octane were slim. We hooked up another boost gauge to discover it was under 15psi. Once we turned up the boost to a solid 16psi and let the heat soak cool, I layed down 380 rwhp. Using that much boost I had to zero out my fuel correction as I was initally pulling fuel. With the BCC in place the map sensor is limited to 4.28v and I have no power to add any fuel. As a consequence I am running lean and mean at about 12:1 air fuel at 16psi. 380rwhp seems to be enough for me. My 10" wheels start skipping off the pavement as the rpms climb. I'll post the chart as soon as I get it converted from runviewer to jpg. I'm sure it's near or at 400 on a cool night.
