nothing on this new motor yet, but I have a sheet of 333 rwhp at 12 psi on the last motor and it was much weaker. Now running 14 psi on a stronger motor.. probably close to 400rwhp. Hope to dyno soon with a few friends.

Trying to keep the power down for the time being until the tranny is swapped. I'm selling my spare auto tranny. The k26s I'm using come alive at about 18psi, and are stable to 26 psi. 22 psi should net me over 500rwhp easily.

Thanks 1stGen..

let's see.. cost. Well there's the intercooler..a ProCharger I had laying around from a Mustang I built a bigger front mount for. I inherited the old intercooler after that.

The radiator is a stock Supra MkIV.. about 200.00 from Modine (I need bigger and aluminum though)

The turbos are stock Porsche 944s, K26s same basic turbo as used in Blitz and SaRD Racing kits from Japan. Mine didnt cost much, under $400.00 for the pair..freshly rebuilt. I built the manifold off adapters on the stock Aristo turbo manifold...manifold and metal to make it..cheap. 2 Tial wastegates were used, one I had, one I bought. 2 blowoff valves initially, one GReddy and one SaRD r2d2. Now down to one, just the r2d2.

The 2jzgte swap was bought before the car was, when I still had my very busy garage. I got the motorset on an order with a few others and lets just say that it was cheap.

As far as the work to make it happen, didnt cost me anything but time and actual materials.. built the intercooler piping, exhaust and dp's out of 180* mandrels in steel. Cut and welded all by me laying on my back with the car on jack stands. I change things all the time. This is my creative outlet. Sometimes I get ideas and cant sleep til I get to fulfill them. The V mount setup is just like that. I have been planning it for almost a year, but just a few weeks ago I worked out the last details to actually make it work. Over 2 nights it was done, truthfully one LONG night, when I had to drive the car home so it HAD to be done.. and the next night to clean it up. My buddy Ferd cut the hood vent in for me, and that was it.

Keep in mind that til May of this year I did this for a living. Closed my garage to have surgery on my severely overworked hands. LOL.. imagine that.

To answer your question as to cost.. I did it as cheap as I could by necessity, I'm a baller on a budget.

The labor of course I didnt pay for and I have to say that Labor is most expensive part of bringing a car to the level that mine is at. Labor =Time=Money.. Bottom line if I had to pay for all the work done that you see.. I couldnt afford it.

Good thing I can build it myself. My next conquest is to upgrade my welding eqpt so I can build in aluminum.

havent dyno tuned it again since the new motor went in. guesstimates are in the 350-360rwhp range before hitting fuel cut just north of 1.00 bar. bcc will go in soon and i'll head to the dyno for some tuning.
