Removing Front Bumper

How do you remove the front bumper?
What is involved in removing the front bumper, by that I mean the painted flexible plastic cover. I am thinking of repainting mine if it is not that hard to remove. Also, I would need to remove the other flexible panel between the bumper and the grill that is a different color on two toned cars. Any tips appreciated.
