I know I'm not the ONLY one complaining because I've read posts from others that agree. PM you? Are you a vendor, if so, I suggest you work on your marketing strategy....If not, are you getting a kick-back? Otherwise, share the knowledge....

I don't even know WHY I bother with this forum....THere's only about 5 heavily modded 1st gens that post on a frequent basis, and even less that are HELPFUL...I'm sure I'll get warned by Dave again. I guess it doesn't matter anymore.
Useless? Seems to me your the one thats useless, cant do anything for yourself but complain. If you cant find the info on the exhaust, then I doubt anyone has anything. Everytime someone makes a suggestion, you shoot it down and complain somemore. If this forum is so useless, why dont you go start another and find a whole bunch of information and post it up there. That way, theres no longer a useless forum where people are trying to help other people out. AND, if you read the bottom of that post you quoted, you will notice is says MUFFLERS!!!!! not exhaust systems, so in other words, what the guy is saying is, he can choose any one of those UNIVERSAL mufflers to use in his CUSTOM exhaust system hes making.

You can also try luxurymods.com to look for stuff. Keep searching, and maybe you will find something.

Im with you, but I dont like being called useless, especially by someone who doesnt seem to want to do anything for himself. He is right though, there isnt much in the form of aftermarket for this car. If your looking for power, you might as well go with a Turbo kit...intake/headers/exhaust arent going to get you a whole lot with this car. The N/A 2JZ doesnt respond too well to bolt-ons. You may get 10-20 rwhp with I/H/E, thats alot, but its not enough. Not enough to keep up with the cars they got today man. You can put together a turbo kit for cheaper than 4K like they have over at turbo-kits.com. Ive got mine put together to cost me less than 2500. I just need to get somemore money for the install since I have nowhere to do it myself.

ONCE AGAIN, I don't see any HELP coming. I apologize if I hurt anyone's feelings....

Not doing anything for myself? Do you guys NOT see the links that I continully update MYSELF as I find more parts as NOONE else has even provided a source. I'm just asking for ASSISTENCE so that EVERY 1st gen owner can know EXACTLY what he can put on his car and WHERE to get it. Obviously SOME people know where to obtain the parts, but not all of us do. Even google is at a loss when it comes to JZS 147 parts, unless you're fluent in Japanese.....

Once I get some HELP I will create a new thread and if needed a web page dedicated to aftermarket parts.....I am going on vacation to Australia in a couple days so I will prob miss the rest of my SLAUGHTERING for asking for help.

Shoaf, I totally understand. To some people the look and the fact that the parts are professionally made for that vehicle means a lot, it looks better and you don't have to worry about things not fitting or having to be modified to fit. I personally don't mind some of the DIY stuff as I'm more concerned with function than looks for the most part (at least under the hood or body). I've done more than enough of the DIY on my other car as I enjoy the experience of doing it and learning how to fabricate things, but there is nothing quite like an off the shelf part that goes right on.

Bodywise I reckon its all but identical but you aint getting a front bumper in your hand luggage I guess. You will however find some usefull suppliers over there maybes. I will say one thing though the possible reason why you can't find many induction side mods may have something to do with the fact that most if not all induction kits for this engine have negative effects on performance. The reason why there are more available for the TT is because nearly all FMIC's pipework gets in the way of the stock box so aftermarket induction is the only way to go.

why dont you decide on what you want? How hard is it to really find? You need someone to wipe your butt too?

You want a body kit thats in the US. Well Veilside is readily available (the white car in the thread has the veilside kit) and is reasonable priced. There are a number of vendors that sell it.

You want an exhaust from Japan? Guess what, a lot of them have been discontinued. The car is old. The older it gets, the less demand there is for the products, so they get discontinued.
Also the JDM version has a 2JZGTE motor...supra twin turbo motor if you didnt know. So a lot of the performance products in Japan will not apply to your car.

Make up your mind of what specifically your looking for before you whine about not being able to find something. You want a kit thats in Japan, well you gotta pay Japan's market price for it, and the shipping for a box that you can fit your couch in. Nothing is hassle free, deal with it.

If you want a parts guide, go buy a hyper rev. Its 8 years old though

You just did, lol
Nah, its all good, his list is nice too.

PS. Your link to the ECU isnt working. Also, as far as bodykits go, you should add www.Memoryfab.com to the list. It pretty much has all the kits for our car
