I have a 94 gs 300 an my antenna doesnt work its never worked since ive had the car an would like to fix the problem. When I looked at the antenna from inside the trunk there was 2 wires cut black/red pink/blue. Are these the 2 wires needed to power up the antenna? i also have an Alpine head unit. Thanks

should i connect them together an put them together to any 12 volt source? or should I connect them to the dash?

 

Why cant they be spliced to their corresponding colors? Pink/blue goes to Accessory switched power and black/red to ignition switched power. You could hook them both together and to the radio red wire it should work although antenna may power up when key is in Acessory instead of ignition.

 

i tired them connecting them together eariler together an connected it to my amp power wire an nothing happened maybe the motor is bad?

 

Well you need to have all the other wires for the antenna hooked up at the deck as well. Black/orange black/yellow black/white. Search for Abears writeup!
