Cool

You remove the pipe, unplug the sensor(with the car off). Unscrew the sensor, clean with wire brusk and carb cleaner. Then clean the pipe of any and all blockage or carbon with carb cleaner and gun cleaning brushes or paint gun clraning brushes.

Hi Jmai,
I originally had the CEL and my brother cleaned the EGR value and cleared the light. It was good like that for a few months, but then the light came back one w/ code 71. I took the car for 120K service and the tech said the only way to fix the vacuum modulator was to replace it. You may be ok with cleaning the EGR for a while, but my mechanic said the vacuum modulators tend to become faulty. I don't know where it is exactly, sorry. The part was about $60.

Vacuum modulator
EGR Valve
EGR Sensor

Ok, so there's a few names floating around. pictures would be great at this point. so far it seems like i should just replace the Vacuum modulator since it is only 60 bucks. even though i have no idea which one is the vacuum modulator. anyone have pictures it would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks so much

Hey guys, I found a picture(not of our car but similar setup/parts). Ok so basically i need to clean both of these units??? Is there a way to open them up? or do i just spray carb cleaner in them?? Also do i need to take apart the pipe right below these 2 units with all the hoses running into it and clean that out as well?

Jmai22,
Just wondering how you have the suspension bar (The metal bar across to two front supension tower) on your NA GS300? Does it come with default option of you installed it separately.?
I want to install one to my GS300 as well.
