i finally got what i wanted. a 93 gs. i got the car from my sister for $2500. the car is black with tan interior. the car sits on 17' verde wheels. the car has like a 170k on the odometer. i have to go back home to texas to get the car and drive back to colorado springs. they took dam good care of the car so i know it's A+ mechanically. i built and raced around in hondas for years and i promised my wife i would quit as soon as i found the right car that would help me give up the hondas. CAN YOU SAY WHAT A FIND? my brother has a 97 es300 and it is pretty clean. i will post pics of both as soon as i can. i have read alot topics and you guys and gals seem alot more mature compared to the honda forums. THIS SITE ROCKS ALLREADY!!!!!!

Welcome to ClubLexus. I have a 93 gs300 also that is pretty well modified. I bought mine cheap, but geezz.. not that cheap. What you paid for that car is a smokin deal! Congrats on getting what you wanted, and at a great price. Not much in a junkyard is exhangeable as an upgrade to these cars.. (i.e.. SC300 and Supra suspension parts interchange but not to our cars

Power figures if your engine is healthy, stock no mods should be about 175rwhp.. Best mods to start with.. exhaust. Take a look under your car at the stock exhaust.. 2" piping.. 2 dead end resonators..etc. An intake and SAFC2 properly tuned would add a good bit or torque. the GS runs very rich on the stock ecu..lots of power to be made by leaning it out... better gas mileage too.

sounds like a nice clean car though.
