Default 93 GS300 Needs Engine!!!!!!!!Help!!!!!!!!

Man iam glad i went searching on line. I feel at home with my other GS3 owner's/ Iam inTexas and i have had my GS300 for almost two years. two days ago i blew my engine for the second time. THis time I refuse to let a rinky dink shop TOUCH my car. I need help locating a nice clen,problem free (six) for my GS. I really dont want o get rid of the car. BUT if i can't find a motor the car is gong to the GRAVE YARD!!!!!!!!!! email me @ Thomasbloans@yahoo.com

If you've got the $ you can swap in a twin turbo from a supra. It will cost extra because it will need some modifications to the turbo to make it fit. Check the board for more info on 2JZGTTE swaps.

That's sick....just when i thought our cars couldn't get any more fun or better....you can actually swap a TT in our generation gs300's? wow...nice

It's a pretty feasible alternative. A few members here have done it to their 1st gens. Some people have also done it to the 2nd gen GS.

Check www.supraforums.com in the classified section. There seems to be a pretty good amount of traffic in there. If you can find a motor from an NA supra you'll have to swap over the oil pan and oil pick up from the gs motor. Possibly some other things but i'm not 100% sure.
