Default struts/shocks

I've just aquired a '93 GS300 from a family member with 226,000 on it. It has been pretty meticulously maintained with everrything addressed(I think) other than the tranny, which is still strong, the rear window, and the struts. I hear a clunking on the front drivers wheel going over potholes, and it does float a bit overall. I'm wondering what struts others have replaced with. All I can find is KYBs. Anyone have suggestions including where to buy. Also, I can't find a Haynes manual, any others out there? I'll be doing all work myself. TIA.

Your options are either the regular kyb replacements. Coilovers or if your lucky enough you can find yourself some trd shocks which are kyb agx adjustable.

thanks gompka, how are the regular KYBs? I'll just be driving as a daily driver, nothing advanced needed. Are these comparable to stock? BTW, I'm very impressed with the build quality of the Lexus, the chassis has 230k on it and it's still rattle free, pretty quiet considering it could probably use new door seals which may cure that.
