look what i found looking on autotrader
TURBO LEXUS
Car looks sweet and so does the engine..... i am always torn apart when thinking about either turboing the lex or selling it to get something like an is300 but every time i see something like this it gives me an urge to turbo it hehe.

yea 30k is alot but if you think about it he had all this done at a shop. Car itself is worth 11k retail according to blue book. Engine is a 2000 so like 5-6k. The work for the swap itself anywhere around here is around 10k + brakes and electronics and misc pieces. That price is alot but seems about right.

I always wondered what it would cost and how much work it would be to put a chevy small block into our cars lol. Nice LS1 that should get good fuel mileage and it would have kick..... Different tranny and custom driveshaft would be required. Main concern i think would be fitment and the weight balance. But theoretically the v8 would sit closer to the axle and thats better ...
