Default HID Bulbs

I have two questions. I just installed an HID system in my 94 GS300 using the stock headights. I am using the DS2 HID Bulbs.

1. What bulb can I use to get the brightest light but still maintain the blueish hue.
2. The DS2 do not properly mount to the headlight I had to do a little modification to get them to stay in place. Does anyone know the exact type of HID bulb that will mount into the stock headlights? Please keep question 1 in mind when answering question 2.

Thanks

You need bulbs that are machined with a 9006 base to get the max light output.

Here is a bulbs I machined to the same focal piont as the d2s.

I'll take two of them. The bluest and brightest you have.

Lex,
Tried ebay and did some google searches but no luck. Amy help you can provide in getting a set of these bulbs would be graetly appreciated.

Is the base different in the 85122 and 85123?

Thanks

I had 6001k Philipps HID kit on my car and they are blue and are still pretty bright. Anything over 6001k is too blue and not bright at all.

I think you might have got the wrong bulbs. You need 9006, which are plug and play with no modifications to the bulbs or headlight housing.
