I love the Gen I body style and the car can be tweaked many ways as you can see. Check out the Gallery for more pics. I think the most universal PITA thing about Gen I is the warping of the door trim on the driver side. Everyone I know has to deal with it sooner or later. Good luck!

Can I see a Pic of this Warping???

Here is a link to a thread here, or just do a search on "trim" or wind noise and you will find lots of stuff.

thanks for all the help guys... still strongly considering. I have alot of $$ in the ES and don't know if I'll be better off, money-wise, getting the GS. But... it's still in the air. Thanks for all the pics guys, definitely some bad rides.

I know a tiny bit about these vehicles so don't think i'm a complete noob. The biggest reason i'm looking into them is RWD. Front wheel drive is just not my bag of chips.

have any of you had any serious problems with your rides? (ex. motor, tranny)

As far as the drivetrain goes-no problems at all. Just routine and scheduled maintenance and away it goes! Knock Wood!

For the money, one of the best used cars you can lay hands on really.
