Rear bumper repaint [Anybody knows any good body shop near Urbana, IL?]
Had my left rear bumper scratched by another car pulling out from parallel parking. It's not so deep but it's about 2-3 inches long and there are couple of them. The reflector on the bumper is also scratched as well appearing to be "cloudy". Her insurance company is going to cover the repair so it's all good. However, not being familiar with the local area, I'm not sure where to repaint my bumper.
Anybody knows any good body shop near Urbana, IL? The nearest dealer from me is Lexus of Peoria. They do have a collision center but I would rather not have to drive 2 hr there and back to get the job done. Btw, would they give me a loaner car for something like this?

Hope everything goes well and you should be able get a loaner car is you continue to use a dealership, but if you go to an independent shop, you can get reimbursement by their insurance company for a rental

You won't get a loaner car, you'll get a rental car. Collision shops don't usually give out Lexus loaner cars....her insurance company will pay for your rental car though since it's her fault. Most dealership collision centers will have a car rental place (i.e. enterprise) on site on very close by that they deal with.
As far as bodyshops go, the one at Lexus of Peoria is not a Lexus Certified Collision Center, so instead of driving 2 hours each way, do some searching online and find a reputable body shop near you. Make sure they have a lifetime warranty on repairs and of course check their reviews online. Also, be sure to ask for OEM parts to be used only, they shouldn't have a problem doing that at all.
If you prefer a Lexus Certified Collision Center, the only one in IL seems to be Woodfield Lexus in Schaumburg. But that's about a 3 hr drive for you...lol. I personally would make the drive to have my car repaired at a Lexus Certified Collision Center.
